Michael T. Crawford (Southeast)

In Loving Memory of Michael T. Crawford

June 28, 1969 – June 11, 2026

Michael T. Crawford, 56, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026, with his loving and devoted wife by his side.

The Late Brother Michae Crawford

Born on June 28, 1969, in Springfield, Ohio, Michael served his country as a medic in the United States Army and built a distinguished career as a respected automotive executive. He served in many roles at EnovaPremier, eventually becoming Vice President and later President / CEO of the organization. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Michael was actively involved in both professional and community organizations. He served on the board of the Bluegrass Automotive Manufacturers Association (BAMA), where he held several leadership roles—including President and Vice President—over the course of seven years.

Michael was known not only for his exceptional leadership, but also for his unwavering faith, integrity, and compassion. His generosity, wisdom, and steady presence touched countless lives, leaving a legacy that will endure for generations.

At the intersection of Michael’s personal life and public service was a deep and abiding faith. He was a devoted member of Burnett Avenue Baptist Church and held a minister’s license from the Church of God in Christ (COGIC)—the same denomination in which his father, Odell Crawford, Jr., faithfully served as a pastor. Under the leadership of his pastor, Rev. Dr. Daniel Corrie Shull, Michael valued sound biblical teaching and spiritual growth. Prior to his passing, he completed the MasterLife program as part of his continued preparation for service to the church.

Faith was not incidental to Michael’s story—it was woven throughout every chapter of his life. From witnessing his father shepherd Crawford’s Temple COGIC to answering his own call to ministry, his faith shaped how he led, how he served, and how he loved. Michael lived out his calling with sincerity and purpose. Even in his final days, he remained steadfast in sharing his faith—ministering to his caregivers and encouraging them to attend services online as they cared for him.

Discipleship and leading others to Christ were at the very heart of Michael’s life and enduring legacy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Pastor Odell Crawford, Jr.; his mother, Bonnie Crawford; and his brother, Shelby Crawford.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Lynetta Crawford, whom he affectionately referred to as the love of his life; his cherished children, Dakota Michael Crawford and Myles Crawford; his mother in love, Sheryl Hagans; his siblings, Gloria Hinton (Kyle), Nathan Crawford, and Scott Crawford (Michelle); as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who will continue to carry forward his love, values, and example.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 25, 2026, at Burnett Avenue Baptist Church. Visitation will take place from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed immediately by the service at 11:00 AM, as family and friends gather to honor his remarkable life and lasting impact.

Michael was also a dedicated member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated®, Alpha Lambda Chapter, where he served as President and in many other leadership roles. Most recently, he served on the board of the Alpha Lambda Educational Foundation. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly welcomes donations to the Alpha Lambda Educational Foundation (ALEF)—a cause deeply meaningful to Michael and a tribute to his lifelong belief in the power of education to uplift and empower the next generation.
